Not better. Just not equal.
Not Equal Training focuses on kettlebell-based resistance training to build strength, coordination and confidence.
Sessions combine strength training, mobility work and conditioning to create efficient workouts for people with busy lives.
Every member is coached directly by the same trainer, ensuring consistent guidance whether training in group classes or personal sessions.

My story
Strength is not equal
—and that is the point
I’m a pretty straightforward guy. I like to keep things simple, crack a few jokes, and I’ve learned (the hard way) to laugh at myself along the way.
But I also care a lot about respect — listening to people, understanding where they’re at, and creating a space where you can just be yourself without feeling judged.
Because I’ve been there.
At 15, I was 115kg, dealing with severe acne, and honestly just trying to figure things out. When I was prescribed acne medication, I was told I needed to lose weight and manage my cholesterol.

So I did what I thought I had to do.
I went all in — and completely the wrong way.
I was fasting all day, running 5km every day, and eating one meal at night. I dropped around 25kg in a few months… and lost everything with it — fat, muscle, energy. It worked, but it wasn’t sustainable, and it definitely wasn’t the right approach.
From there, my journey was a bit of everything.
I’ve done bodybuilding splits, machine-only training, fasted cardio, stairmaster sessions, sports, strict diets — chicken, broccoli, the whole thing. I’ve been at 85kg, back up to 95kg, and everywhere in between.

It was a rollercoaster.
But over time, things started to click.
Now, I’m in the best place I’ve ever been — physically, mentally, and in life. I’m a dad of two amazing kids, I’ve got the best partner I could ask for, and I get to coach people through their own journeys in a way I wish I had when I was starting.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
There’s no perfect formula — but there is a roadmap.
Everyone’s different, but if you zoom out and stay consistent, you can build your own path to where you want to be.
And one thing I always say:
I can’t want it more than you.
If I care more about your progress than you do, it won’t work.
Things only changed for me when I decided I wanted it — more than anyone else around me.
This is your journey.
It’s a solo one… but that doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
Once you stop relying on others to do it for you — and start learning from the right people instead — everything becomes a lot clearer.
I hope to meet you soon,
Ed
How I coach
Technique, progression, and accountability
Our coaching blends kettlebell skill, strength work, and conditioning in a way that is repeatable and sustainable. You will learn the “why” behind the work, track progress over time, and receive feedback that keeps you moving forward—without guesswork.
Fundamentals first, then build intensity. Every session prioritizes movement quality, appropriate loading, and a training environment where you can focus and improve. Expect practical coaching cues, measurable progress, and a community that supports consistency.
One man show!
(don’t worry, it’s intentional)
It’s just me… mostly.
You’ll see my partner around too — she’s my right hand, keeps things running smoothly, and is usually the one making sure everything actually works the way it should.
That means every session, every program, and every bit of coaching comes from the same place — with clear standards, consistent messaging, and a proper understanding of how you train.
It also means you won’t get lost in the system… because there isn’t one.
Just coaching that’s built around you
